Managing director at Fleckney Group - who are organising the event - Michael Preston said: "You’ll have your own wireless speaker system that sits on your dashboard, which will be properly sanitised between uses.

"This speaker will not only deliver high quality audio directly to you, but it also means you don’t have to use your car’s radio for the screening, meaning no need to run your engine and no risk of flat car batteries! We will also be broadcasting the audio over the PA system for those that wish to sit outside their vehicles."

Visitors are welcome to bring their own food, chairs and blankets and there will be an on-site drinks bar. Food and drink will be available to purchase on site through an order and collect style system. Menus will be available to view beforehand.

Mr Preston added: "We will be fully compliant with the government restrictions on social distancing. In fact, there’s no need to get out of your car at all during the screening if you don’t want to.

"We will have large walkways throughout the site so should you need to visit the toilet facilities or collect your food, you will be able to do so without coming into close contact with anyone else.

"The toilets will be individual units which will be spaced a minimum of 2m apart. They will be cleaned and sanitised regularly, and there will be ample hand sanitising facilities available."

Tickets are priced at £25 per car and £35 for VIP - all subject to a £2 booking fee - and they are available to purchase now. A VIP ticket guarantees visitors the best view of the screen in a special reserved seating area. Viewers will also be able to order food to their cars via a waiter service.

Customers can be assured of their money back guarantee in the event that the drive-in cinema is cancelled for any reason or one of their party tests positive for coronavirus.
