Corby Charity Fun Run

A colourful and family-friendly charity run is set to bring the community together this spring as residents of Corby lace up their trainers to support two local charities.
The 'Corby Charity Run' will take place on Sunday 26th April at the Rockingham Triangle Athletics Stadium, raising funds for 'Lakelands Care Hospice' and 'Home-Start', two organisations that provide vital support to people and families across the local area.
Organised as part of the fundraising efforts of the Mayor of Corby, Callum Reilly, the event promises to be a fun and inclusive day for people of all ages and abilities. Participants are encouraged to run, walk, skip or even dance their way around the course, with everyone receiving a medal for taking part.
Registration opens at 12:30pm, with the first competitive race beginning at 1:30pm and a fun run starting at 2:30pm. Entry costs £8 for adults and £5 for children, with family tickets also available, and spectators are welcome to attend for a small donation on the gate.
Speaking about the event, Mayor Callum Reilly said: "I am incredibly proud of the community we have here in Corby. Events like this show the kindness and generosity of local people who are always willing to come together to support others. Lakelands Care Hospice and Home-Start Corby do extraordinary work supporting families and individuals when they need it most, and I am honoured to be able to support them as my chosen charities this year. This charity run is a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together, have fun, and make a real difference."
Both charities hope the event will bring together families, supporters and local residents for a lively afternoon filled with community spirit.
All profits from the event will be donated directly to 'Lakelands Care Hospice' and 'Home-Start Corby', helping them continue their important work supporting people across Corby and the surrounding areas.
