Bridal bargains at charity wedding dress sale

Brides-to-be are invited to bag themselves a bargain and say ‘yes to the dress’ at a charity bridal sale on the 23rd June, 11am – 1pm, at Wootton Hall School, Wootton Hall Park, Northampton.

With over 25 new bridal and bridesmaid dresses up for grabs, kindly donated by Anna Wood at Anna Wood Clarity Coaching, all proceeds from the sale will go to The Lewis Foundation, a charity that provides over 2,000 free gift bags every week to people undergoing cancer treatment at 17 hospitals across Northamptonshire and the Midlands.

A variety of dresses and shoes will be on offer, with brands including Nicole Anne and Kenneth Winston Couture, in a range of sizes from small to extra-large. All dresses are new and unworn and changing facilities will be available for customers to try on their pick of the dresses.

Lorraine Lewis, co-founder and CEO of The Lewis Foundation, said: “We were thrilled when Anna approached us with the offer of all these beautiful dresses for the benefit of The Lewis Foundation. At a time when more brides-to-be are feeling the pinch financially, these dresses represent a more affordable option while helping to raise some much needed funds for The Lewis Foundation at the same time.”

“100% of the sales will go towards funding our free gift packs, which means we can bring more smiles and comfort to adult cancer patients undergoing treatment in hospital - this is what we continually strive for at The Lewis Foundation.”

Anna Wood, founder of Anna Wood Clarity Coaching, said: “I closed my bridal boutique and rather than sell the stock I had left, I realised I could use these beautiful dresses to raise money for this incredible cause. I’m delighted to be able to contribute to the fantastic work carried out by The Lewis Foundation through the donation of these dresses. The dresses include some of the most popular designs so we can’t wait to see some very happy brides-to-be coming away from the sale with the dress of their dreams.”

Doors will open at 11am and dresses will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis. Parking is available on site; cash and card payments will be accepted on the day.
