The discovery of a shocking truth about her own childhood, when she is already reeling from the breakup of her marriage, fills her with distrust and fearfulness.

Then she starts seeing a strange child, wandering in the garden, who seems as lost as she is.

The author will be launching her new novel at the beginning of next month.

It will take place in the Carnegie Room of central Northampton Library on Thursday, June 4.

Doors open at 6.30pm with the event to start at 7pm.

It is due to end at 8.30pm.
