An artist will be giving a socially-distanced talk about his work and techniques at 78 Derngate in Northampton on Thursday, October 8.

Glenn Badham, the current artist at 78 Derngate, will be giving two talks at noon and 1.15pm and they will be for restricted number of guests and must be pre-booked.

Liz Jansson, house manager, said 78 Derngate was continuing to remain open as much as possible during the current crisis.

"In fact, it is a really good time to come and see us as our visitors get an almost exclusive experience with practically private viewings of the heritage house!

"The only thing that is different for both the house and The Dining Room, apart from a new Covid controlled one-way system and a relocation of the shop, is that all bookings have to be made and paid for in advance of the visit," Liz added.
