Ukulele champion Joe Brown returns to the region next week as part of a four month jaunt across country.
Brown grew up in the East End of London and started playing professionally at 18 embracing skiffle and rock ‘n’ roll.
His guitar playing has been lauded by the likes of George Harrison, Mark Knopfler and Keith Richards.
Brown was presented with a coveted Mojo Award in 2009 for his Outstanding Contribution to Music and in 2012 released his latest record, The Ukulele Album.
The LP demonstrated his love of the instrument, one he’s championed for many years.
Accompanied by his four strong band – which incudes his son Pete – the show will combine old favourites and new songs with a twist.
Joe Brown plays at the Milton Keynes Theatre on Wednesday, January 13.
Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets cost from £29.15 to £31.15. For more information and to book tickets, visit http://goo.gl/MWomPd
