A celebration of one of the biggest pop bands in the world is coming to The Core at Corby Cube on Thursday May 21.

The Cavern Beatles, the only tribute to the Fab Four fully licensed by the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, are regarded as being as close as possible to the real thing.

They will be re-creating many of the timeless Beatles hits such as She Loves You, Hey Jude, Help, Can’t Buy Me Love, A Hard Day’s Night, I Want To Hold Your Hand and many more.

The two-hour live show pays breath-taking attention to detail, even extending to the use of exact reproduction of 1960s instruments. All of the equipment seen on stage is the same as that used by the Beatles wherever possible.

The show is a Magical History Tour through the works of the greatest pop music phenomenon.

The band is one of only a handful worldwide which performs their show completely live with just the four musicians. The show replicates the excitement and energy of Beatlemania that hit the country during the 60s, the psychedelic era of Sgt. Pepper, and the creative masterpieces of The White Album and Abbey Road.

Cavern Beatle Rick Alan said: “It is incredible that The Beatles music is still as powerful and relevant today, half a century since the band found out about being awarded an MBE from the Queen and Prime Minister.

“I can only describe it as an honour to perform their music, in association with The Cavern Club on tour.”

The concert starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £18.50 with concessions available at £16.50 and can be booked by calling the box office on 01536 470470 or visiting www.thecorecorby.com.
