A musical show about Doris Day comes to the Lighthouse Theatre in Kettering on March 4.
The show, which looks back at the life of the actress and singer, is performed by Claudia Morris alongside a live band and actors portraying the characters in Doris’ life.
It celebrates what would have been the Hollywood legend’s 90th birthday.
Her life included a period as a jazz singer in the big band era and Hollywood stardom followed by financial and domestic tragedy.
Doris had a TV comeback later on and went on to devote much of her time to campaigning for animal rights.
The show includes many of the songs she made famous during her career including Que Sera Sera, Sentimental Jouney, It’s Magic and Perhaps Perhaps.
West End performer Caudia Morris has appeared in shows including Camelot, Guys n’ Dolls and Buddy.
She released her debut album Love And Demons in 2009. She went on to explore her love of jazz with her second album Twelve O’Clock Tales in 2012.
