A raunchy show based on real stories from real women will be staged at the Royal & Derngate on Friday, April 17.
Sex In Suburbia, starring West End regular Claire Sweeney, explores the mysteries of men, dating, finding Mr Right and motherhood. Co-written and starring Sweeney, Sex In Suburbia is filled with fun, laughter, emotion and truth as it follows Penny Crowe (Lindzi Germain), a late-night radio presenter and Britain’s leading agony aunt who hosts a late-night phone-in.
Penny takes calls about every date from hell and the occasional one from heaven.
She is more than happy to dish out the relationship advice, but can she take it?
Sweeney joins Penny on her show as a “relationship expert”, while Carl Patrick revels in multiple roles, which take the form of frigid footie fans, karate-chopping kids and the outrageous radio host, Rory Reynolds.
The raunchy storyline is set to a backdrop of sensational musical anthems such as I’m Every Woman and I Want To Break Free. Tickets are £23 and are available by calling 01604 624811 or at www.royalandderngate.co.uk.
