The humour of PG Wodehouse comes to the stage in the touring production of Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense next month.
The show won the Olivier Award for best new comedy last year, when it had a successful West End run.
Now it is on tour in a production starring, in the role of Bertie Wooster, Robert Webb who is best known for his role as Jeremy in Channel 4’s comedy Peep Show.
Jeeves is played by Jason Thorpe and Seppings is played by Christopher Ryan.
It tells the tale of Bertie, a chap who is always getting into difficulties and his unflappable valet Jeeves who always comes to the rescue and always gets his own way in the end.
The show was written by brothers actor Robert and documentary filmmaker David Goodale. They got together to adapt The Code of the Woosters for the stage and gained the blessing of the Wodehouse estate.
The show is at Milton Keynes Theatre from April 7 to 11.
