Dreadzone headline the Castle

Genre splicing electro-dub pioneers, Dreadzone, return to The Castle theatre in Wellingborough next week.

The band released their new singe Fire In The Dark in January, the second track from 2013’s album Escapades.

The core members of Dreadzone - Greg Dread, original bass master Leo Williams, the MC Spee, reggae vocalist Earl 16 – are joined by Chris Compton on guitar and Bazil on technology.

Escapades was Dreadzone’s seventh studio album and features Mick Jones from The Clash and Lena Cullen on vocals.

The record was born from a heavy touring schedule when founder members Greg Dread and Leo WIlliams took their drum and bass duties onto the Big Audio Dynamite reunion tour alongside Mick Jones and Don Letts. This is a standing show. Dreadzone play the Castle on Thursday, April 2. Doors open at 8pm. Tickets £15 before fees. For information visit www.thecastle.org.uk
