Nottingham duo Jason Williamson and Andrew Fearn take Sleaford Mods to the Roadmender next week.
Sleaford Mods began around 2006 while Williamson was living in the city and was born out of part frustration and part accident.
It quickly found its feet as an aggressive verbal onslaught on all that is contrived and connected to the day-to-day hammer of low paid employment and domestic situations arising from that trap.
After a few years in London, Williamson moved back to Nottingham in 2009 where he met Fearn and Sleaford Mods became a duo, going onto release numerous albums and singles.
The pair released their latest LP, Divide and Exit, last year, the follow-up to the singles collection, Chubbed Up.
The single Tiswas followed in November.
Sleaford Mods headline the Northampton venue on Friday, February 27.
Doors open at 7pm, tickets cost £10 in advance before fees.
