Former finalist of The X Factor Ray Quinn is looking for local talent to join him on stage when he appears at The Lighthouse Theatre in Kettering.
He is looking for a local musician to be the support act when his latest swing concert comes to town.
Ray said: “I wanted to give other musicians a chance at the exposure that I have had.
“It will be a chance to perform in front of my fans and also give them that experience of performing.”
He was a runner up on the ITV talent show in 2006 and won the fourth series of ITVs Dancing on Ice. He began his career on the now defunct Channel Four soap Brookside.
However he will be returning to the stage and singing live.
Ray said: “After the success of my first album I’ve had time to grow as an artist. I’m now doing songs that I’m writing from my experiences and through maturity in the industry.
“Alongside a great team of producers and writers, I’m helping to produce the music I want - taking myself towards a new direction, creating songs that move people and reaching out to a wider demographic.
“To be taking my love for music out on the road again, I’m very excited. I’m right at home singing live on stage so it will be as much as a treat for me as it will my fans. This is my passion and I cannot wait!”
The gig at The Lighthouse Theatre is on Saturday October 31 and starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets for the show cost between £17.50 and £19.50. They can be booked by calling the box office on 01536 414141 and www.lighthousetheatre.co.uk.
Anyone who wants to be a support act can tweet him @therealRayQuinn, like his Facebook page www.facebook.com/RayQuinnOfficial or comment on an Instagram @rayquinn_uk. Musicians can also send him a link via soundcloud with a sample of their music.
