Singer and broadcaster, Isla St Clair, will bring back the Blitz spirit in her new show, Eyes Front! tomorrow night.

The night will be a nostalgic and humorous look at the effects of music in wartime.

She will perform popular songs from the era and tell the stories behind them.

She will be joined by film-maker, Patrick King, who will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the making of wartime movies.

The pair will illustrate how songs and music played a vital part in people’s daily lives, for boosting morale, for propaganda and reminding people of better times.

Isla St Clair is known to millions for television appearances, including The Royal Variety Show and The Generation Game.

A rich mix of song, film, funny out-takes and interaction with the audience, Eyes Front! makes for a light-hearted family show that will be informative and wonderfully entertaining.

The show is at The Core at the Corby Cube tomorrow, February 1. Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets cost £12.50. To book, call 01536 470 470.
