Amen and Paradise Lost are among the latest names to join Alt-Fest, which takes place in Northamptonshire this summer.

Fronted by the Grammy Award–winning Casey Chaos, Amen’s wild live shows through the late 1990s and 2000s gained them a huge UK following.

The band picked up further accolades along the way, including the title of Best Live Band by Metal Hammer magazine.

Casey said: “I’m proud to announce that Amen will return to play an exclusive show at Alt-Fest, a festival done by the people for the people. We are looking forward to performing and transmitting the sound from the heart, from our homeland communist America and destroying ourselves for your pleasure.”

Seminal doom/death metallers, Paradise Lost, will top the bill of the Metal Stage on the opening night.

Other new additions to the line up include Finntroll, Agonoize, Savage Messiah, Krokodil, Mesh, Parade Ground and Stormbringer.

Previously announced acts include The Cult, Gary Numan, Cradle Of Filth and Marilyn Manson.

Alt-Fest takes place from Augusts 15 to August 17 in the grounds of Boughton House, near Kettering.

Adult weekend tickets cost £115 and are now available online from
