King’s hits back on theatre stage

Europe’s most successful Elvis Presley tribute artist, Lee Memphis King, brings his spectacular show One Night Of Elvis to Royal & Derngate on Friday.

Celebrating the entire career of the musical legend, this new show is billed as the ultimate tribute to The King.

It will begin with an authentic recreation of the 1968 comeback special and culminates in a rousing expo of Elvis’s years performing in Vegas.

Accompanied by a world-class orchestra and backing singers, Lee aims to bring the majesty of the voice and the electrifying power of Elvis’s performance back to life.

Over the last 10 years, Lee has toured his One Night of Elvis production and has received numerous accolades and headlined some of the most prestigious venues across the UK and Europe to sell-out crowds.

One Night Of Elvis will light up the Derngate stage on Friday, October 23 at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost from £20 to £22 before fees.

On Saturday night, The Black Dyke Band return to the venue’s stage.

The reigning National Champions, British Open Champions and European Champions, will be conducted by Nicholas Childs.

The performance will be helping to raise money for the Royal British Legion.

The Black Dyke Band play on Saturday, October 24.

Tickets are on sale for The Glen Miller Story which is at the venue on Sunday, November 1.

Terry Steel’s Astor Big Band and its singers will include more than 20 unforgettable Glen Miller Hits including Little Brown Jug, American Patrol and String Of Pearls.

The afternoon performance begins at 3pm.
