Tickets are on sale for indie legends Space who will headline The Picturedrome in Northampton in October.
The Liverpudlians came to prominence in the mid-1990s following the release of their debut album Spiders and are best known for their classic hits including Female of the Species, Neighbourhood, Avenging Angels and The Ballad of Tom Jones.
After disbanding following the release of their third album Suburban Rock ‘n’ Roll, the band’s remaining original members met at the funeral of drummer Andy Parle who died in 2009. This sowed the seeds of a reunion in 2011.
Throughout 2012, Space worked on their latest album Attack of the Mutant 50ft Kebab which was released last year.
Space are back with the new single Strange World which combines their signature sound with a Mariachi vibe.
They play on Saturday, October 24. Support is by Jagged Little Thrills and there will be a Britpop DJ set until 1am after the headliners.
Doors open at 8.30pm. Tickets cost £10 in advance via www.skiddle.com or £12 on the door.
