An off Broadway and Edinburgh Fringe Festival hit is coming to The Castle Theatre in Wellingborough.
Every Brilliant Thing is performed on Wednesday June 17
It is based on true and untrue stories, about depression and the lengths we will go to for those we love.
You’re six years old. Mum’s in hospital. Dad says she’s ‘done something stupid’. She finds it hard to be happy. So you start to make a list of everything that’s brilliant about the world. Everything that’s worth living for.
This includes ice cream, kung fu movies, burning things, construction cranes and laughing so hard you shoot milk out of your nose.
You leave it on her pillow. You know she’s read it because she’s corrected your spelling.
Soon, the list will take on a life of its own.
The play has been written by Duncan Macmillan and is A Paines Plough and Pentabus Theatre Company production
Tickets for Every Brilliant Thing are priced £10 and the show starts at 7.45pm.
