Youth Club to play Roadmender

Southend alternative quartet Youth Club bring their UK tour to the Roadmender tomorrow night.

The band first caught peopleʼs attention in 2014 with their self-released debut EP Colours. It reached 25 in the independent singles charts and seven in the iTunes alternative charts.

They followed with second EP Brothers last year, going on to play festivals including Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Y Not Festival and Standon Calling as well as gaining support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing and MTV.

Youth Club returned to the studio after a summer playing across the country and at the end of last year released AA single Pressure / DTLA via Lab Records.

The band mix guitars, electronic keys and RnB vocals to create a crisp, dance orientated pop.

They play the Northampton venue on Friday, March 4.

Doors open at 7.30pm, tickets cost £6.50 before fees.
