TV star Timmy returns to Daventry to showcase artwork

A much loved artist and children's television presenter makes a return to Daventry later this month.

Timmy Mallett appears at the Evergreen Art Cafe in Sheaf Street from Friday July 22.

He will be in the gallery and we will be showcasing his latest original paintings and limited edition prints.

Visitors to the exhibition will have the chance to meet the artist, and discuss his painting techniques and inspirations.

He is an oil painter and acrylic artist whose work sells in galleries across UK and Europe.

However he is probably best known for the show he presented across two decades, The Wide Awake Club and Wacaday presenting the show with zany behaviour, colourful shirts and catchphrases.

Timmy is no stranger to the gallery and actually opened the art cafe back in 2010 and made return appearances in 2011 and 2012.

The event takes place between 7pm and 9pm.

All pieces sold at the event will be able to have a signed personal dedication from Timmy.
