Oundle School will be hoping its pupils aren’t scared of stagefright as youngsters perform Scary Play at The Stahl Theatre.

The question of what frightens people is something that Kal and his friends are forced to confront.

Their sleepover turns into a frightening adventure involving a mysterious empty house and the grisly story of its former occupants.

These include a man, his mother and a pet monkey.

The play has been written by Judith Johnson and has been directed by Andrew Martens.

A spokesman for the school said: “Come and join Oundle School’s First and Second Forms.

“Comedy, suspense and the supernatural combine in a dramatic exploration of the powerful hold the imagination has over us.”
