Ronnie Spector heads to Stables

Ronnie Spector heads to the region next week ahead of her first ever performance at this month's Glastonbury Festival.

The iconic singer released her latest album English Heart earlier this year.

The record is her first full length LP since 2006 and her own personal love letter to 1960s Britain.

Its 11 tracks are collection of hand-picked favourites by acts including the Kinks, the Beatles, Sandie Shaw and Gerry & the Pacemakers.

This tour, titled Ronnie Spector Sings the Fabulous Ronettes, pays tribute to the music of the ultimate girl group she co-founded as a teenager.

Joined by her band, Spector will be playing hits from across her career including Ronettes such as Be My Baby, Baby I Love You, Do I Love You and Walking in the Rain.

This is a fundraising performance in aid of the Wavendon Allmusic Plan Ltd

Ronnie Spector headlines the Wavendon venue on Monday, June 13.

Doors open at 8pm, tickets cost from £32.50 before fees.
