Plantium night for Northampton choir

Northampton Male Voice Chorir celebrate their 70th birthday with a concert on Saturday October 29.

It starts at 7.30pm at the NSB Cripps Hall.

The choir will be joined by the County Youth Big Band for an evening of music.

The choir was formed in 1946 and has a proud tradition of music making and raising money for local and national charities.

In recent years the Choir has won a number of awards in music festivals and built an enviable reputation.

Commenting, Stephen Bell, the choir’s musical director said: “We are looking forward to this very special concert.

“The choir is proud of its 70-year heritage and is making great progress on its mission to become one of the best and is singing particularly well.

“It will be great to perform with the talented youngster of the County Youth Big Band.”
