Harrison is the only change made for the attempt to complete a series whitewash over the Wallabies at Allianz Stadium.

Harrison wins his second cap after James Haskell conceded defeat in his battle to recover from the foot injury sustained in the 23-7 victory in Melbourne that established an unassailable 2-0 lead Down Under.

The rugged New Zealand-born back row has enjoyed a breakthrough season at Northampton and is preferred ahead of Jack Clifford in Sydney.

“Teimana comes into the side at seven for James Haskell whose foot hasn’t quite recovered from Saturday,” said head coach Eddie Jones, who has left the bench intact.

“Teimana has trained well throughout the tour and deserves his spot. He’s an excellent defender and his robustness will be important to us at the start of the game. Jack Clifford is unlucky to miss out, but will finish the game for us.”

Harrison will be joined in the England team by Saints team-mate Dylan Hartley, while Paul Hill and Courtney Lawes are named on the replacements bench.

There is no place in the matchday squad for Luther Burrell.
