Dorian West says the return of England duo Courtney Lawes and Tom Wood is a big bonus for Saints.
Lock Lawes has been out since injuring his ankle in the win over Leicester on December 20, but starts against Harlequins on Friday night.
Wood is also available and will be among the replacements for the Aviva Premiership clash at Franklin’s Gardens.
And forwards coach West is delighted to have the talented twosome back in action as Saints bid to increase their nine-point lead at the top of the table.
“It’s nice to have them back playing,” said West.
“They both trained on Monday with us and did bits and bobs then they went back down to the England camp on Tuesday.
“We’re really pleased they’re coming back to be involved in some rugby.
“It’s always a bonus when you get players like them back because you want as many of your top players available as possible.”
