Alex Corbisiero has been ruled out of Saints’ clash with London Irish with a calf injury.
But Stephen Myler is fit enough to start in the Aviva Premiership fixture at Franklin’s Gardens on Friday night (kick-off 7.45pm), while Calum Clark and Christian Day also return.
Corbisiero, who was released by England on Tuesday, suffered the minor injury in last Saturday’s LV= Cup win against Wasps.
And Saints have opted not to risk him against Irish, with Alex Waller returning from Saxons duty and a week off to take his place at loosehead.
Myler is back at 10 after recovering from his own calf problem, while Clark, who, like Corbisiero, was let go by England earlier in the week, returns to the back row.
Samu Manoa and James Wilson also make their comeback after being given two weeks off, with Phil Dowson again skippering the side.
Meanwhile, London Irish have named Shane Geraghty in their starting 15, with the former Saints fly-half forming a half-back pairing with Scott Steele.
Luke Narraway is named among the replacements after recovering from injury, with 17-year-old Academy fly-half Theo Brophy-Clews also on the bench.
