Denton hit the premier division summit thanks to a 3-2 win at Welland Valley Panthers.

Ben England, Daniel Machardie and Robbie O’Neill got the goals for Denton, who go top on goal difference ahead of AFC Houghton Magna.

Simon Barby and Thomas Williams struck back for Welland.

In division one, AFC Crown secured their first league win of the season with a 3-0 victory over fellow strugglers West Haddon Albion. Nicholas Bradshaw (2) and Kyle Humphries netted for Crown, who are still three points adrift at the foot of the table.

AFC Hackleton picked up three points from their trip to AFC Trinity. Goals from Sam Anderson and Matt James saw Hackleton claim a 2-1 win.

In division two, Stuart Harman scored a consolation for Parklands Phoenix as they suffered an 8-1 hammering at Earls Barton.

Bottom club Park Royal went down 3-1 at fourth-placed Nene. Antony Bell, Sam Evans and Paul Pearson got the goals.

Ollie Gates, Shaun Melville and Jason Oyston all scored for Grendon Sapphires in a 3-2 win over Pitsford Rangers.

In division three, Alex Quatrine scored five in Abington Town City’s 10-0 win over Spring Park.

Angus McAlpine (3), Josh Brul and Jack Ratcliffe also netted for Abington, who remain in second.

Leaders Real Roochers Reserves stay top though as strikes from Matthew Hayward (2), Ian Mason (2) and Robert Walker saw them to a 5-2 win over Bat & Wickets Reserves.

In the League Cup first round, goals from Andrew Pixton and Andrew Ranft couldn’t prevent AFC Houghton Magna from a 4-2 defeat at home to Bat & Wickets.

AFC Trinity went through on penalties after playing out a 1-1 draw at Swan & Helmet. Harry Shaw was the man on target for Swan.

AFC Obelisk Reserves went out of the NTFA Plester Shield at the semi-final stage following a 4-2 home defeat to Butcher Loco.
