Alex Holmes hit a hat-trick as Harpole boosted their Duston Garage Premier Division title chances with a 7-0 thrashing lowly Corby Locomotives.

Bobby Leah, Dean Mills, Lee Nash and Gary Purton all chipped in with singles for fourth-placed Harpole, who remain nine points behind leaders Corby Eagles but with two games in hand.

James King Blisworth stay second following a 5-0 win over Brixworth All Saints, with goals coming courtesy of Lee Abrams, Ross Arundell, Aaron Chilton, Dale Lewis and Andy Seaton.

Robert Turner’s brace earned Milton a share of the spoils in a 2-2 draw at Kettering Nomads.

Moulton were beaten 2-0 at home to third-placed Gretton.

In Duston Garage Division One, Heyford Athletic put in a good shift, beating Kettering Orchard Park 3-1.

Kasy Morgan and Zach Pugh-Brooks (3) were the men on target.

Weedon had a comfortable 4-0 win over Medbourne, with strikes from Ashley Brown, Leon Edwards, Matthew Gernon and Daniel Weekes.

Spratton are through to the Duston Garage Division Two KO Cup final after winning their semi-final contest against West Haddon.

Yardley United made home advantage count when they played host to Irthlingborough Rangers, winning 8-4.

Northampton Mereway progressed in the NFA Area Cup thanks to a 3-1 win over Corby Shamrock Reserves.

In the Duston Garage Reserve Premier Division, bottom markers Brixworth Reserves played host to Corby Grampians Reserves, with the home side going down 3-1. Jerome Bryan got the goal for Brixworth. In Duston Garage Reserve One, Charlie Biggs netted twice in Earls Barton’s 4-2 win over Corby Pegasus Reserves.

Spratton Reserves came out on top of a seven-goal thriller at home to Weedon Reserves.

Spratton won 4-3, goals coming from Jonathan West (2), Perri Wells and Daniel Martin.

In Duston Garage Reserve Division Two, Drayton Grange Reserves kept up the pressureon top spot with a 7-1 victory over Corby United Reserves.

Marcin Chmielewski (2), Scott Baxter (2), Adrian Biggins, Oliver Gatward and David Robinson all netted.

Grange are now three points behind leaders Desborough & Rothwell United Reserves with three games in hand.

Nic Tomes’ goal couldn’t prevent West Haddon Reserves from going down 2-1 at Finedon Volta Reserves.
