Northampton Town boss Stuart Gray takes his side to Cheltenham tomorrow for what he says is a 'must-win' game.
Gray says his side need to secure some breathing space between themselves and the bottom four.
"We're getting into a stage of the season where they're all must-win games and when I say that I mean because it will give us a bit of breathing space for the following few games," he said.
"We've got Cheltenham tomorrow and if we win that it will take the pressure off for three or four games.
"It's a must win but there are enough points still to play for.
"We need to make sure we've got enough points
for the back end of the season.
"Hopefully we'll be well clear by then because psychologically staying out of the bottom four does give you that little bit of confidence."
As well as keeping tabs on Clarke, Gray may also sign another goalkeeper on loan after Ron-Robert Zieler returned to Manchester United.
"We're looking to strengthen in that area," he confirmed.
"Young Paul (Walker) played for the reserves on Wednesday and I'd have no worries about going with him and Chris Dunn if we can't get someone in."
