Cobblers boss Chris Wilder and attacker Nicky Adams have both been nominated for Sky Bet League Two monthly awards for October.
Wilder is on the four-man shortlist for the manager of the month, while Adams is one of four players nominated in the player of the month category.
The Cobblers played six league matches in the month, claiming four wins a draw and just one defeat at Cambridge United.
Wilder is up against Plymouth boss Derek Adams, Oxford United’s Michael Appleton and Crawley’s Mark Yates.
Plymouth claimed 15 points from six games, Oxford matched the Cobblers’ 13-point haul and Crawley secured 12 points from four wins in six fixtures.
Former Bury man Adams has received his nomination after a brilliant month that saw him claim seven assists for the Cobblers, directly tee-ing up more than half of the team’s 13 goals, as well as score his only goal of the season to date.
Adams is competing with Morecambe striker Shaun Miller, Plymouth central defender Curtis Nelson and Bristol Rovers front man Matty Taylor.
The winners of both awards will be announced on Friday (Nov 6).
