Watch videos and view pictures of the jubilant scenes at the full-time whistle as Cobblers players and fans celebrate winning the League Two title at Exeter City’s St James Park on Saturday afternoon.
A draw with the Grecians was enough for Northampton to seal the deal, partly thanks to results elsewhere that put Chris Wilder’s men 13 points clear with four games remaining, confirming them as champions.
The Cobblers are now unbeaten in a club record 14 away games and 20 in all.
Wilder said: “We’ve won in all different ways – we’ve won playing well, won coming from behind, won when we’ve been down to 10 men and that’s the character of these boys and the character of the club.
“We’ve been on an incredible journey this season.”
