St Margaret's made sure they finished the season just three points off the top as they beat Kingsthorpe Wanderers 2-0 in the Northants Sunday Combination Premier Division.

Perry Wells and Fazel Koriya were the men on the mark.

In division two, unbeaten champions Manfield Rangers earned a 3-1 success at Thorplands Club 81 thanks to goals from Jason Deegan, Dave Hodson and Jason Bates.

Nathan Garafalo got the Club 81 consolation.

In division three, Johnny Spooner struck twice to help Northampton Hotspur beat Spartak FC 4-3.

Ryan Leah and Mike Thornley were also on target for Hotspur, while Rhys Taylor’s double and Liam Norton’s single made up the Spartak reply.

Andrew Hopper hit two to help Far Cotton Loco beat White Elephant 5-3.

Zed Carley and Nathan Mason were also among the Loco scorers.

In the NFA Sunday Shield final, Deers Leap Reserves were defeated 4-0 by Middleton Cheney.

IN the Northants Sunday Conference League Cup, AC Squirrels booked their place in the final with a 3-0 win against Dallington Heath.

Jamie Ellis, Oliver Urquhart and Daniel Gray got the goals.

Squirrels will meet Crown & Cushion in the final after they beat BBS Lord Byron 4-0.

Pitsford Rangers finished their season in division one in style by beating Nene FC 4-1.

Kyle Bryant, Callum Coles, Joe Merrill and Christopher Taylor got the Rangers goals.

Parklands Phoenix also finished with a flourish, beating Swan & Helmet 5-2.

In division three, AFC Thorpe remain a point clear at the top after earning a vital 2-1 win at Abington FC.

Shane Bouher and Jordan Timson struck for Thorpe, with Calvin Budd replying for Abington.

Russell Aitken hit a hat-trick to help AFC Crown keep the pressure on Thorpe.

Gareth Morris also netted as Crown won 4-1 at Albany Athletic.

Richard Prendiville got the Athletic consolation.

Nathan Bobowicz netted a stunning six times as AFC Obelisk beat Oakley Diamonds 9-2.

Bryan Curtis claimed a double and Joe Robinson also scored for Obelisk.

Gareth Boyles and Ahmet Ali got the goals for the Diamonds.
