SUNDAY COMBINATION: Max is a Payne for Leap as Sapphire secure success

Max Payne scored twice as Sporting Sapphire secured a 5-1 win against Deers Leap in the premier division.

Bobby Lane, Gareth Morris and Tony Linnell also struck, while Daniel Newby netted for Leap.

Sam Turner and Chris Martin were on-song for Midshire Electrical as they won 2-1 at Dynamo, for whom Liam Grisley grabbed a consolation.

Rhys Coleman and Lewis Leslie scored as St Margaret’s drew 2-2 with AFC Kislingbury.

In division two, Andrew Keighley scored for AFC Hackleton Reserves as they drew 1-1 with Thorplands Club 81 Reserves.

Dan Robinson netted for Travis Perkins, but they were beaten 2-1 by Squizzas.

Eastern Eagles beat Northampton Dons 6-4.
In the NFA Sunday Vase, Dale Wilson grabbed the winner for Golden 
Horse Reserves as they beat Hardingstone Sun 1-0.

Bradley Mosedale was also a match-winner as his strike secured a 1-0 win for Spinney Hill FC at Jameeah FC.

Shane Roberts registered for The District but they lost 6-1 to FC Phoenix.
In the NTFA MDH Teamwear Cup, Matt James grabbed two goals as AFC Hackleton beat Halse United 6-4.

Olly Blaney, Ben Harris, Ryan Keighley and Joe Malkin also netted.

Billing United were 3-2 winners on penalties after a goalless draw against Grendon Sapphires.
