SUNDAY COMBINATION: Great Scott hits a hat-trick to see Margaret's into semi-finals

Scott Sandy was the hat-trick hero for St Margaret's as they claimed an NFA Sunday Cup quarter-final win at Woodford Stars.

There was a 4-0 win for Northampton Hotspur against Parklands Phoenix, with Seb Brown, Josh Healy, Ashley Worley and Ryan Leah on target, while Manfield Rangers beat Kettering Park Avenue 4-3.

Jack Tate scored twice, with singles for Chris Newbold and Matty Silecchia.

AFC Hackleton are also through after efforts Dan Porter and Olly Blayney sealed a 3-0 win over Halse United.

In the Goodliff Cup, Standens Barn as they eased to a 4-1 win over Houghton Magna thanks to goals from Steve Carroll, Paul Carrolland Ryan Ansell (2).

Joe Rich scored for Midshire Electrical, but they went down 2-1 to Golden Horse, while Dynamo were thumoed 5-0 by Denton.

Mick Bradshaw and Obudu both netted twice and there was one apiece for Jon Febnnell and Liam Andrews as Travis Perkins saw off AFC Hackleton Reserves 6-0 in the NTFA Chronicle & Echo Cup.

Naseby are out after an 8-0 defeat to JA Global.

In the Premier Division, Sporting Sapphire saw off Royals 6-3 in a nine-goal thriller.

Ross Arundell led the way with a hat-trick, while Chris Culley, Chris Healy and Bobby Lane were also on the mark, Mick Mitchinson (2) and Jamie Church replied for Royals.

Thorplands Club 81 were also 6-3 winners in their division one clash against AFC Pioneers.

Club’s scorers were Chief Boateng (2), Karlos Augustine (2) and Nathan Burrows (2), while Pioneers hit back through Ryan Hamilton, Joe Collier and Chris Hales.

In division two, George Bonifas scored both goals as Royals Reserves sunk Hardingstone Sun (Sam Anderson) 2-1, while FC Phoenix went down 3-1 to Golden Horse Reserves, who scored through Leroy Manning, Darren Andrews and Jake Carley.

Kieran Legg scored Spinney Hill’s consolation in their 4-1 defeat to Eastern Eagles, and Eddie Uka did the same for Squizzas FC in their 4-1 loss to The District, who won it through a Steffan Chambers hat-trick and one for Charlie Candler.

Monks Park WMC were 4-3 winners against Thorplands Club 81 Reserves, who lost despite a hat-trick from Carl Hamly. Park’s scorers were Aaron Smith, Elliott Muddiman, Nathan Tysoe and an own goal.
