NORTHANTS COMBINATION: Chilton and Lewis double up to keep Blisworth top

Aaron Chilton and Dale Lewis both scored twice as James King Blisworth stayed top of the Duston Garage Premier Division with an emphatic 4-0 win at Earls Barton.

Heyford Athletic saw off Medbourne 3-2 thanks to strikes from Zach Pugh-Brooks, who scored twice, and James Owen, while third-placed Roade beat Corby S&L Khalsa 3-1. Efforts from Paul-Sorin Ciumacenco, Stuart Clarke, Nik Maund and Daniel Surridge and an own goal steered second-placed Harpole to a 5-2 win at Spratton.

In Duston Garage Division One, Jamie Ellis netted twice for leaders Wootton St George as they drew 2-2 with mid-table West Haddon Albion.

An own goal plus strikes from George Pyne and Adam Roberts were enough to see Bugbrooke A to a 3-1 win over Higham Town in Duston Garage Division Two, while Grange Park Rangers thrashed Kettering Park Rovers 7-3 thanks to goals from Steven Blackwood (3), Elliott Muddiman (2), Ryan Maskell and Max Payne.

In Duston Garage Division Three, Bugbrooke B lost 2-1 to Corby Kingswood Reserves despite a goal from George Gardiner, while Brixworth Alll Saints Reserves edged past Corby Ravens 5-4.

Irthlingborough Town lost 4-1 to Daventry Rangers, while leaders JLB were stunned as they lost 4-0 at home to Wollaston Victoria Reserves.

Second-placed Weedon took full advantage of that slip as they beat Earls Barton Reserves 4-1 thanks to two goals from Luke Harris and singles from Liam Fullard and Jareth Conway.

In Duston Garage Division Four, Northampton Falcons were beaten 6-3 by Corby United, while Harpole Reserves stay second thanks to a 3-0 win over Burton Band.

Ali Whitehead hit a hat-trick as Heyford Athletic Reserves thumped Wilby 7-3, with their other goals coming from Liam Playford (2), Jack Lee and Lee Moore.

In the NFA Junior Cup, Moulton were well beaten by UCL side Daventry Town, going down 4-0.
