Thorplands Club 81 recorded only their second premier division victory of the season, beating Falcons United Reserves 7-2.

The win came thanks to a double strike from Shane Lothian and one apiece from Aaron Childs, Marc Dowling, Nathan Garofalo and Uclid White.

Falcons’ goals were shared between Jason Grant, Danny Harris and Richard Hurst.

Delapre Old Boys went nap as they beat Liberty Stars 5-1 courtesy of strikes from Gareth Errington, Reece Grey, Jake Hintom, Gavin Hitchcock and player-secretary Paul Cranswick, leaving Nathaniel Ansu to net Liberty’s retort.

JLB stay hot on the heels of leaders Delapre with a 7-2 triumph over Duston Dynamos.

Ace marksman Dan Jennings helped himself to a four timer to go with singles from Ben Gernsey, Adam Pickersgill and James Tyne, while Phillip Day and Samuel Mizen hit Duston’s replies.

FC Shelley Road got the better of Sporting Bat & Wickets by the odd goal in seven.

A Dan Oats brace and a solo effort from Aaron Linnell gave the pub men hope, but two goals from Blayne Chester and one each from Aston Pink and Donovan Williams was enough to give Shelley the three points.
