Andy Seaton struck twice as James King Blisworth closed the gap on premier division leaders Weldon United to two points.
Seaton’s brace steered Blisworth to a 3-1 win at Moulton. Chris Fury got the other, while Aidy Redmond replied for the home side.
Brixworth All Saints and Roade could not be separated and had to settle for a point apiece in a 1-1 draw.
Darren Inns was on target for Brixworth, who remain in sixth.
Earls Barton secured a comfortable 4-0 win over Milton.
In Duston Garage Division One, Weedon were forced to settle for a point following a 2-2 draw at home to Wollaston Victoria.
Weedon’s goals came from Ben Drinkwater and Michael Parsons.
Division one leaders Daventry Drayton Grange were held to their first draw of the league season as they drew 3-3 with Clipston.
Robert Oliver, Matthew Russ and Chris Trill netted for Grange, who remain three points clear of nearest rivals Burton United.

In the Duston Garage Reserve Premier Division, Brixworth All Saints Res are finding it tough going this season in the league and failed again to record a win when they played host to Bugbrooke A going down 4-2.
Harpole Res and Kettering Nomads Res played out a hard-fought game and neither team could be separated after 90 minutes, the game finishing 2-2.
