Andy Seaton struck twice as James King Blisworth closed the gap on premier division leaders Weldon United to two points.

Seaton’s brace steered Blisworth to a 3-1 win at Moulton. Chris Fury got the other, while Aidy Redmond replied for the home side.

Brixworth All Saints and Roade could not be separated and had to settle for a point apiece in a 1-1 draw.

In Duston Garage Division Two, Grange Park suffered a 5-0 defeat at the hands of Stanwick Rovers.

West Haddon Albion lost 3-1 at home to high-flying Higham Ferrers.

In Duston Garage Division Three, Northampton Falcon United moved up a place in the table to third with a 3-1 win over table-toppers Wellingborough Aztecs. Duane Hall, Christian Pawlyszyn and Liam Swane were the men on target.

In the Duston Garage Reserve Premier Division, Brixworth All Saints Res are finding it tough going this season in the league and failed again to record a win when they played host to Bugbrooke A going down 4-2.

Harpole Res and Kettering Nomads Res played out a hard-fought game and neither team could be separated after 90 minutes, the game finishing 2-2.

League leaders James King Blisworth Res had an outstanding game against third-placed Moulton Res winning 8-2.

Blisworth goals came from Dale Lewis (2), Matthew Atkinson (2), Leon Cosford, Louis Lynes, Dane Alexander and Chris Moore.

Wollaston Victoria Res played host to Roade Res. The teams battled out a 3-3 draw with Wollaston finding the net through Gavin Boddington, Adam Henson and David Wood.

The only game in Duston Garage Reserve Division Two saw Heyford Athletic Res record a 5-4 win over Wellingborough Gleneagles Res.

Zach Pugh-Brooks led the way with a hat-trick, Daniel Houverkis and Elliott White added singles.
