Speed off his line was key in the first-half when racing out to block from Embleton and Thomas. That aside though, his robust defence ensured he was not unduly tested. Four clean sheets in six games now... 7
More of the same from the Scunthorpe loanee who was unruffled and untroubled. Not even the blustery conditions put him off his stride. Willing to get forward whenever he was able to... 7

Defended soundly and without alarm, helping to prevent the home team even having a sniff of goal. Went close himself in the opposition box but not quite able to convert... 7
Towering and dominant at the heart of defence. Barely broke sweat in dealing with Grimsby's ineffective forward line. Played the conditions well too and slashed a late half chance wide... 8
Stopped Grimsby making progress on his side with some excellent tackling and defending. His set-pieces weren't always defended with great assurance by the hosts... 7
Popped up all over the place in another tireless midfield display. Shielded the back four well and even had Cobblers' only shot on target, albeit from all of 45 yards. His flashed cross could easily have been turned in too... 8
The defence will win credit for another clean sheet but so much of it owed to dogged midfield work, led by Turnbull. Came away with the ball time & again, preventing Grimsby from ever building up a head of steam.. 8 CHRON STAR MAN
His frustrated reaction at not getting a free-kick made for an early flashpoint, which might have ended with an early bath on another day. Saw a shot blocked and ran hard but little came off for him... 5
A frustrating afternoon for the winger who was never really in the game. His touch deserted him at times and he was also caught in possession once or twice. Rarely, if at all, took on his man before being replaced by Sordell... 5
Again started in an attacking midfield role and he had his moments with some neat touches and flicks, but the weather was as much of an hindrance as the home defence. Ended the game on the right-wing... 6
A hugely difficult task as Town's sole front man in the blustery conditions. Battled gamely but proved hard to make anything out of wind-affected long balls. Hardly given even a whiff of goal... 6
Held the ball up well as a second-half substitute and only a late whistle stopped him from scrambling home a winner... 6
Struggled to make an impact from the bench... 6
