Got away with a fumble from Green's long-range drive early on, but the Cobblers stopper was not truly tested until the final few minutes, saving from Ainley and getting a big hand to Porter's stoppage-time effort... 7
Continues to impress, even at right-back. Kept the right-flank secure before being forced off with a late head injury. Even went close to his first Cobblers goal with a delicate lob that landed on the roof of the net... 7

Limited the home team to very little down his side, and made some typically robust challenges. It was also his corner which created the mayhem for Powell's vital opener... 7
Not as prominent as his centre-back partner but equally dependable as Crewe's forward men were kept on a tight leash for the majority. Aerially dominant as ever... 8
His form has been on the up of late and that trend continued with possibly his best display of the season at Gresty Road. Crucial block to deny Porter a tap-in the pick of many timely defensive interventions... 8 CHRON STAR MAN
Ticked all the boxes as Town's holding man in midfield as he broke up play, made tackles and ventured forward when the opportunity presented itself. He's fast becoming one of the first names on the team sheet... 8
Did the hard yards in midfield as his energy and tenacity, allied to Turnbull's physicality, laid the foundation for Town's victory. Little rusty at times but that's to be expected on his first start for nearly two months... 8
A trademark O'Toole goal to double the lead; smart run followed by a clever first-time finish for his third of the campaign. Almost repeated the trick in the second-half when heading narrowly wide. Much more like his old self... 8
A tireless display as he constantly scampered up and down the left flank, charging forward to be an outlet in attack and getting back to help out defensively - as highlighted by his work to win the ball back for the second... 7
Scored and assisted on his first start for almost three months. Scruffy goal, his second against Crewe this season, but was in the right place to nod in. Good cross for O'Toole to convert and double the lead... 8
His scuffed shot fell nicely for Powell to head in. Some neat lay-offs and touches as he led the line well though became increasingly isolated... 7
Wasted important seconds by keeping possession in Crewe's half... 6
Won and took a free-kick in the final moments, disappointingly straight into the wall... 6
Replaced Goode and finished the game in midfield... 6
