Zander Diamond, Ryan Cresswell and Lawson D’Ath all played for a Cobblers side in a behind-closed doors practice match at West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday afternoon.

The Baggies ran out 5-2 winners in a game in which the scores were level at 2-2 at half-time, with Emile Sinclair and Ivan Toney on target for Town.

D’Ath played the full game while Cresswell and Diamond both successfully came through 45 minutes and Lewis Hornby and Evan Horwood topped up the 90 minutes they played last week with more game time.

Lewis Hornby and Evan Horwood also got more game time under their belts.

Diamond has been out of action for three months with an ankle injury, Cresswell for three weeks with a knee problem, and D’Ath sustained an ankle injury at the start of November.

Brown Ideye (2), Kemar Roofe (2) and Adil Nabi were on target for the Baggies.
