FAQ:

Why can’t season ticket holders buy on-line?

The new ticketing system requires extra programming and development from the software developers to enable this feature to work correctly. This work is planned for the summer and all being well, cup matches should be available for season ticket holders to buy next season, subject to prior testing in due course when the feature is available. However, these play off games have come up too soon after the initial launch to have this feature ready.

Will another supporter be able to buy my season ticket seat for the home leg on-line?

No, not until Tuesday 7pm. All season ticket holders seats for the home leg are reserved until 7pm on Tuesday. They will be blocked off on-line until then.

Why are on-line sales not starting until Sunday evening?

The new on-line Ticket Office is, we hope supporters agree, a major step forward. However, it is a new system and despite extensive testing, it hasn’t yet been subjected to the intense pressure of many supporters all trying to buy tickets at the same time (which we predict will happen when tickets for the home leg of the semi final go on sale on-line.) This is not something we can re-create in a testing environment. We are determined to provide the smoothest possible buying experience for those at the stadium on Sunday afternoon and we feel those supporters should have a) first choice on the tickets and b) with big queues expected we want to avoid slowing the system down for personal callers if on-line demand is high. With that in mind, on-line sales will begin later on Sunday evening.

Why can’t I buy an away leg ticket on-line?

As mentioned, at the moment the system requires further programming from the software developers to ‘recognise’ season ticket holders. As also mentioned, this is scheduled to take place this summer. If we opened the away leg sales on-line, we couldn’t restrict them to just season ticket holders and as such, they would have to go on general sale straight away. This could lead to season ticket holders missing out to non season ticket holders and we don’t think that is fair.

*Why can’t I get through on the telephone?

We have limited phone lines, and we have hundreds, if not thousands of people trying to get through. We do have some staff dedicated to answering the telephones but it is impossible to cater for the demand these games generate. If you are a season ticket holder please consider coming to Sixfields, or ask a friend or relative to do so with your season ticket book. If you are a non season ticket holder please buy on-line when on-line sales start on Sunday evening.
