Northants have confirmed that Richard Levi will be returning to the club for the 2016 season.
The big-hitting South African batsman has agreed to come back for a fourth successive campaign.
Levi has been a key player in recent Steelbacks successes, helping Northants reach two of the past three T20 finals days.
He inspired the 2013 triumph and was an important part in securing a final berth last season.
And the 27-year-old will now be back for more in the new year.
“I’m really excited to be part of next year’s squad,” Levi said.
“It’s going to be a really exciting season and I’m looking forward to continuing my relationship and success with the Steelbacks.”
Northants head coach David Ripley is delighted that he will be able to call on the services of Levi once again.
And Ripley said: “It’s great that Richard will be joining our squad once again.
“He brings a level of excitement to the one-day game and is a consistent run scorer.
“Last season we saw a glimpse of that same talent in red-ball cricket so we have high hopes for this coming year.”
