Jacob Holt top scored and was well supported by Richard Higgins, Sam Mennell and Matt Yates.

Samuels leads scoring but Thunder lose out

NORTHANTS THUNDER slipped up as they were beaten 86-65 by Coventry Tornadoes in the Junior Men’s National League (Midlands West Conference).

The Thunder scoring was led by Cameron Samuels, Ed Wallhead and Zac Kitchen with 16, 15 and 12 points respectively.

Litsai and White hit double figures in loss

THE spirited Northants Thunder cadet boys were no match for table-topping Worcester Bears in the Under 16 Boys National League (Midlands West Conference).

In the 81-48 defeat, Grigori Litsai and Connor White were the only players able to score in double figures.

Dina and Lucy can’t prevent the defeat

NORTHANTS LIGHTNING lost 73-55 to Leicester Warriors in the Under 16 Girls National League (North Conference).

NORTHANTS THUNDER were beaten 97-81 by Worcester Bears in the Under 14 Boys National League (Midlands West Conference).

Kris Dambrauskas got 27 points for Thunder, supported by 22 from Ashley Kitchen.

Super Kosnikovska tops charts twice

NORTHANTS LIGHTNING were beaten 65-57 by NEBC Titans in the Under 14 Girls National League (Midlands Conference).

But they bounced back by beating Leicester Warriors 66-57.

Dina Kosnikovska finished the Titans clash with 24 points and registered a superb 33 against Leicester.

Olivia Baldwin (11) and Chloe Stevens (9) chipped in.

No joy for Thunder as they lose both games
