Stanwick has been on a real roll – producing a flood of 20s, two near 30s...and a venue dayticket lake record 40-4 common!

The latter, believed to be a relatively young fish with plenty of growing yet to do, fell to Dan Hyde when he fished Sticky Baits’ krill wafter boilies in Elsons, on Sunday. A new PB for him it beat the previous best, a different fish, by just over a pound, but is still short of the complex’s overall record under the current owners – an honour held by a 46 caught on the syndicated Roman Lake last year.

Other Elsons fish this week included Francis Lynsey’s 28-2 mirror with two 26s also being taken. Top fish on Mallard was Jim Rine’s 28-2.

CARP were well on the move on some match waters. Osprey had a ball when they travelled to Arrans – their top five sharing almost half a tonne! Top weight was Ed Blaine’s 293lb, with Peter Archer on 243lb and Ian Millin 237lb.
