Their entire team would have to stay away from the final round before second-placed RAF could – if they won EVERY section – be first past the league finishing post.

Sunday’s leg, hit by minus three temperatures, was a grueler with ‘Horse men Graham West, Gary Snee and Dan Web on 16-5, 13-1 and 12-14...with only Browning’s Ian Drage (13-6) preventing them scoring a clean-sweep top four.
