A puppy suffering from an eye condition has been dumped outside a vets in Northampton.
The young puppy, who has been named Forest, was abandoned in a crate on the doorstep of the Animal Medical Centre in Kingsley Park in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A spokesman for the RSPCA said it is believed he may have bee dumped due to the fact he may need eye surgery to repair a condition known as cherry eye.
The spokesman said: “Luckily, a neighbour saw the crate and alerted the out of hours team, as whoever had dumped the poor boy hadn’t noticed the vets were closed that day.”
Anyone with any information about the puppy is asked to contact the Northampton branch on 07794 483178. If you would like to help support Forest, text PUPP26 £2, £5 or £10 to 70070.
