Young girl punched and assaulted by gang in Northampton

A young girl was punched to the floor and assaulted during an attack by a gang of five people in a Northampton street.

The teenager was walking along Grange Road in Eastfield at about 8am on Thursday, April 16, when she was surrounded by three girls and two boys.

She was then punched, knocked to the floor and assaulted.

The two boys were described as wearing black jumpers and the girls as wearing purple jumpers. All five of the attackers were white.
