It has been distributed to four groups across the county which support children and young people: Blackthorn Good Neighbours, Spring Boroughs Neighbourhood Forum, AFG UK and Friends and Baby Basics Northampton.
Blackthorn Good Neighbours are using their grant to provide a breakfast club and hot meals to children living in the Northampton East area.
They will also deliver healthy cooking sessions for parents, which they can learn to cook for their own children.
