Wannabe popstars in Northampton will get a shot at the big-time when ITV’s X-Factor brings its audition roadshow to the town in a fortnight.
Talent scouts for the show will be at the Grosvenor Centre on Thursday, March 17, betweem 10.30am and 6pm.
The auditions are open for entrants aged 16 or over and any under 18s must be accompanied by a parent.
Successful singers may get invited back for a further audition in London.
In 2015, Northampton’s Jamie Benkert made it through to the televised rounds of the show.
The 24-year-old health care assistant had been compared to Olly Murs throughout the competition, but lost his place at the second stage of bootcamp.
