Auditions for the X Factor will be held in Northampton next month, it has been announced.
A team of researchers for the ITV1 show will be bring the ‘mobile audition tour’ to the town on Thursday, April 2.
Talented singers will be able to audition in the Market Walk shopping centre between 9am and 5.30pm.
The casting team will then attend an open mic night at the Charles Bradlaugh pub in Earl Street, Northampton, from 8pm to 11pm.
It is the first time that X Factor auditions have been held in Northampton and it is part of the show’s biggest ever audition tour.
Every audition will be recorded and contestants may then get invited back for a further audition in London.
X Factor creator Simon Cowell said: “The X Factor is coming back and, if you think you have the potential to be a world-class star, this is your chance to prove it. You really could be the next pop superstar.”
